Millions of people all over Europe choose homeopathy as part of their healthcare. The European Patients’ Rights Charter formalizes patients’ rights to free choice and equality of access in healthcare. EFHPA’s mission is focussed on the realization of these rights for homeopathic patients. We are therefore proud to celebrate and raise awareness of our rights as patients today, on European Patients’ Rights Day.
Access to homeopathy sadly cannot be taken for granted. Patient groups are critical in retaining and increasing access to homeopathy across Europe. These patient groups are EFHPA’s members. Each group represents homeopathy patients in their respective country, taking action to promote and defend public access to homeopathy.
Given the challenges to homeopathy, it is more important than ever to join your national homeopathic patient association to keep homeopathy available as a healthcare choice. Look at our members page to connect with your national group. If there is not a group in your country, contact us directly at hello@efhpa.eu.
It is EFHPA’s aim to encourage the growth of homeopathic patient groups across Europe. An increase of patient groups will create a greater impact for our collective calls for equality in access to homeopathy and integration of it in healthcare systems across Europe. To aid EFHPA’s efforts, we are pleased to be working with ECCH and ECH to help spread awareness of homeopathic patient groups across Europe.
Please consider joining your national homeopathic patient group today and be part of the growing numbers of people shaping the future of healthcare in their country.
