EFHPA is committed to protecting Patient Advisors’ privacy while ensuring the quality and integrity of our survey processes.
Why do we ask for some personal details?
During registration, we ask for limited personal information such as name, country, city, phone number, and email address. This information is collected by EFHPA and is required for the following purposes:
- Verification: Before sending the information to Patient Advisors for feedback about the systematic reviews, we may contact Advisors via email, Zoom, or WhatsApp to confirm their eligibility and suitability for the survey.
- Communication: Contact details allow us to share important information about the study and provide support when needed.
- Global representation: Country and city information helps us understand geographical coverage and ensure global participation.
What “anonymous” means to the HOMA project
- No health or medical information is requested during registration or in the questionnaire.
- All questionnaires are completed anonymously. Responses cannot be linked back to individual participants.
- Personal contact details are never included with questionnaire data and are not shared with any other party, this includes researchers running the HOMA project. The data is only held and used by EFHPA to coordinate Patient Advisor input.
How your data is handled
